Pegasus scorecard

The 2006 Pegasus Award winners have been announced. I voted with the majority on three out of six this year, which is an unusually high percentage for me. My three non-winners were "A Thousand Ships", "Ship of Stone", and "No Quarter". I was particularly pleased to see Cynthia McQuillin win for Best Writer/Composer, and particularly unhappy to see "Ship of Stone" not win Best Classic Filk Song. Next year. (\me shakes fist defiantly at the sky)

track: "Stuck Here"

OK, this was an easy one. "Stuck Here" had few problems to begin with. I'm having trouble getting a good balance between guitar and vocals, but a little bass boost on the voice and bass cut on the guitar helps. Results here.

Two or three down, 17 or 16 to go.

Update 10:44 OK, add "I Wanna Be a Webmaster to the list. Another mostly easy one, though I had to smooth out the guitar more than on "Stuck Here". I seem to have trouble controlling my distance from the mic.
