In the moment

Discovered last night that, in spite of my recent change in mood, I can still be hit by a wave of depression and despair. It was situational; the situation lasted only an hour or so and the depression only a little beyond that, but it was a little scary.

I've been alternating between OK and a little subdued today. The koi pond and a call to a friend helped a lot. Remembering, now, not so much. Go back to living in the moment, I think.

Generic grump

The demo that's been working perfectly for the last week didn't work when I dragged it back into the conference room to set it up for a demo tomorrow. As it turned out, I didn't need to reboot the mobile half of the hardware -- that's the piece that's failing. Almost certainly something I either didn't start or didn't stop; I'll have to wait for finagler to get in tomorrow.

Meanwhile I'm grumpy. Grump, grump, grump.
