It's amazing what turns up on google. Yesterday I got a (paper) letter from a fifth-grader doing a class project on internet safety. I haven't touched Notes, Advice and Warnings for Kids on the Web since November of 1999. Guess I need to update it a little, don't I? Not to mention moving it to steve.savitzky.net somewhere.

I also got in a nice long walk (bringing my step count over 10,000 for the day -- go me!), and some singing. And read far enough in Nathaniel Branden's The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem to see that parts of it look like they'll be very useful for me. (I do realize that there's a great deal of controversy on the subject; I'll have to read some of the criticisms next. But the sentence-completion exercises look useful in any case.)

And some singing in the evening. Go me!

My mood seems to be recovering from a local minimum on Sunday. I'm still having a lot of trouble detecting, let alone identifying, positive moods. I suppose it's a matter of practice, which is why it's been so difficult.
