This morning I finally figured out how to make business cards using OpenOffice.org -- it was either that, or put the Windows drive back into the machine that's going to be my new firewall, and try to rescue them from the clutches of PrintArtist.
The trick is not to use "New > Business Cards" -- that gets you to some horrid template-driven thing that I haven't figured out how to edit. Instead, use "New > Labels" and select the proper Avery media. On the "options" tab, click the "synchronize" checkbox -- this pops up a button (in a separate window, no less) that you click to copy your edits from the upper-left-hand card into all the others.
