Unexpected vacation
2002-12-16 07:17 pmGot a call from my boss this morning just as I was finishing my second cup of coffee and getting ready to head for work. Power was out at work, meaning I had the choice of working with pencil and paper by natural light, or working from home, where I was still in the 21st Century. Power corrupts, so of course I picked corruption over virtue.
Of course by the time I'd read my email and the usual websites, puttered around the house for a while, taken Colleen out to lunch, driven the kids home from school because Colleen's car needs work and the power was out at the shop as well, I figure I "worked" maybe half an hour today. Guess I'll write it off as vacation.
