Sunday morning update

flower_cat yesterday afternoon; 3 hours, about 120 miles. South on CA Highway 17 to Santa Cruz on the coast, up Highway 1 to Half Moon Bay, then back on 92, Skyline and Highway 9. All very scenic and restful, with the Cat identifying the wildflowers in bloom along the road. Needless to say, not much else got done aside from a trip to Office Max in the morning to take advantage of a sale, where I picked up such things a staplers, glue sticks, and scissors. For some reason scissors and staplers keep disappearing from our desks. A company called Acme (no relation that I can detect to either Roadrunner Enterprises or Acme Labs) makes titanium scissors, so I simply had to buy a pair.
chaoswolf's guitar is on the move, currently being held in a sorting facility in Indianapolis. Should be arriving sometime Tuesday afternoon.
super_star_girl, whose 13th birthday was Friday, has started agitating for a digital camera. I'm hesitating between getting her something inexpensive, or getting myself something smaller and lighter than my current 2.3Mpixel brick and giving her the hand-me-down. A puzzlement.
