mdlbearThe new monitor is pretty spectacular; I had to turn down the brightness some. Sharp as a tack, after I found the "autoadjust" button. To say that the documentation is "sparse" would be a generous overstatement.
Also picked up some backup media: a 160GB Maxtor drive at Fry's for $69. It was a one-day deal, but they had plenty of stock when I went in at noon, so they'll probably do another in a couple of weeks. $69 is their lowest price point, so it's where I tend to buy my media.
