Am I the only one...
2005-04-24 06:51 am... who can't check a single one of the bands on this test's list? Most I've never even heard of, and there aren't any that I own a recording of. Not one.
Must be an old fogey or something.

Presumably, your taste runs to folk, then

Re: Presumably, your taste runs to folk, then
Date: 2005-04-24 07:53 am (UTC)During the '60s and '70s I listened to (acoustic) folk and classical almost exclusively. Rock tended to be too loud, and one couldn't make out the lyrics (which tended to be uninteresting anyway).

Date: 2005-04-24 08:06 am (UTC)Granted, you're a bit older than I am, but that's not what I've noticed about the rock from that era.
Granted, it IS loud.

Date: 2005-04-25 11:11 am (UTC)On the other hand, I've heard of most of these. Heck, I've HEARD most of them. I just didn't think much of them. (Let's not even get into a former boyfriend who made me listen to Anthrax and Megadeth.) I even have a couple tapes I inherited from friends...in a box, somewhere. Rush, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyde, Van Halen, Beastie Boys...but I don't play them.
On the other hand, I actually own and listen to some U-2, Tull, etc. But they're not on the list.
