I should take my own advice
2005-05-16 08:32 pmFound a file in my home directory on the main fileserver -- the one I don't use anymore; the one that crashed and ate a week's worth of email archives the Thursday before last -- detailing the steps I needed to go through to move my main working directory off onto my desktop machine. Dated June, 2000.
(Buries face in palms.)
On the bright side, the backup script I finished writing last Friday appears to be working. And to be fair, I did move all of my CVS-controlled working directories off. I just thought the RAID would be more reliable for things like the email archive.
