Phone shopping

chaoswolf mentions in her LJ, we finally broke down and got her a cell phone, adding it to our shared-minutes plan. The additional $20/month comes out of her allowance, as does the difference between her phone and the amount I was expecting to spend on one.
Luckily, she's not the kind of teenaged airhead who spends hours on the phone with her friends -- she's a lot more likely to have them over for a friendly game of D&D or something similar. As she's doing today, in fact, while Colleen and I go out to see Harry Potter (the kids, of course, have already seen it).
Going shopping with the Wolfling was fun -- we don't get to do much together. I'm not counting taking her to school on rainy mornings or when she's running late: she's not particularly human at that hour.
