mdlbearThere's still a hole that I'm missing on the network, possibly because I haven't managed to get the new gateway into operation. Besides that, there are still two Win98 machines up, one of which is the Y.D.'s and known to have crud on it. Not good. Yes, I know: I should have been more ruthless the first time.
Found a (different) rootkit on the machine I normally use as my desktop. Luckily, being a client, there was nothing on it that could be harmed by a full nuke-and-rebuild. Only took about an hour. Thank you, Debian.
