Reviving HyperSpace Express
2005-08-17 08:52 amYesterday I paid for the newspaper advertisement required to complete the registration for my business name, HyperSpace Express. I had allowed the registration to lapse -- it's supposed to be renewed every five years; it had been almost twenty. I also got my box of checks in the mail -- they're very simple (i.e., cheap), with a light-green background on top and tan (sort of a parchment look) on the bottom.
The main reason for doing this (apart from the fact that we were in the bank anyway working on re-arranging my home loans for lower interest) is that sometime in the next mumble months I intend to get my CD out. I also expect to use it forfeeding my computer habit other business-related expenses.
At this point, the only legal formality left is to get a resale number; that can wait until I actually have something to sell. I also have to put the website together (I own the domain,
