Just finished installing Linux on the
flower_cat's machine, making it dual-boot. Being new, it was a Window$ XP box, so I used a copy of Xandros that I got at LinuxWorld to do the install. Quite fast, and smooth as silk. Too bad it's totally different from all the other machines in the house.
Tomorrow I'll nuke Xandros, repartition for more swap, and install Debian or DeMuDi (which is Debian-based). Strictly speaking I could just upgrade Xandros, which is also Debian-based, but it's pretty far out of the mainstream as far as its configuration goes.
I also plan to fire up my Slug sometime over the weekend.
