mdlbearThe housefilk last night was pretty good -- very laid-back. Even though it nominally started at 3:00, there was only one other guest present when we arrived around 4. Anyway, singing got underway around 6:30 or 7:00. We had leave early, having foolishly promised our younger daughter we'd be home before her bedtime (10:00). Well, it was that or have problems getting her up on Monday...

I finished off the evening, after putting away everything but the guitar, with The Mary Ellen Carter by Stan Rogers.
In other news, I've just found out that the father of one of my daughterchaoswolf's friends is a musician, has a CD in progress, and will be at Consonance. Website at http://ricksongs.com/ I can tell we're going to have to do some serious hanging-out.
