Links over in mdlbear_albums (specifically here) for very rough oggs of "Demon Lover" and "Silk and Steel". The balance is dubious, and there's a lot of noise that I hope is in my speakers. Forgive me if it sucks, and don't hesitate to give me suggestions. Mostly I just wanted to get the melodies out there before heading down to Loscon. I really want to redo DL with separate vocal tracks for the two parts, and put it up as an Audacity project (all 100MB of it).

The interesting feature of this particular set of tracks is that the ogg files were made using something pretty close to the final Makefile. It uses my SongInfo kludge (unfortunately not up on the Web yet -- soon) to extract the necessary information from the [song].flk (LaTeX with some specialized macros) file, and passes it to oggenc along with the path to the most recent .wav file in ../tracks/[song].

Just gave the oggs a listen on my audio machine -- S&S is OK; DL sounds ok but I clearly couldn't carry a tune in a bucket that day. Definitely a "paper bag" take.
