A relaxing but ultimately rather unproductive day. Went out for a drive with the flower_cat, then out for dinner at Trader Vic's (while the kids made mac-and-cheese with chicken -- they love it; we don't). Finally spent about an hour trying to get a clean track of "Someplace in the Net", with a total lack of success. I've decided that it sounds better in G than in A -- at least I think it does. The guitar sounds better, anyway; not sure about the vocal part, which is at the low end of my rather limited range.

If I'm going to have sessons that long I may need to re-arrange things so that I can record sitting down.
