In Erotic Wars, Lillian Rubin points out that the sexual revolution changed things for all sorts of people, and that there are now discussion groups on sexuality in very conservative Christian congregations. So this doesn't really surprise me that much. (Sorry to academicize this.)

On the other hand, there are folks who aren't comfortable even with the sex education in Catholic schools—like Mary Kay Letourneau's father John Schmitz, who pulled his kids out. How do I know? Schmitz was my state senator for several years.
