Consonance: question

Does anyone (waves at the sound crew) remember what kind of microphone I was singing into at the two-fer? Brown, spherical windscreen. What I was hearing in the monitors sounded remarkably good; I'd be interested in knowing whether that was the mic, room reverb, or the fact that the system was on the hairy edge of feedback.

IIRC, he uses only Shure 58 or 59 microphones.

It would be an SM58 with an oddball windscreen, then. I did a sound check with Jerry Tyra once and discovered that I like the sound of SM58's, so it makes sense.
