As if I need more projects
2006-03-10 10:19 amI was looking over my battered old copy of The Folksinger's Guitar Guide by Jerry Silverman, and thinking that somebody ought to write a Filksinger's Guitar Guide. Somebody please hit me over the head with a clue stick and make me finish my album first, OK?

Date: 2006-03-11 03:29 am (UTC)"The Folksinger's Guitar Guide" is the book I learned guitar from, and long out of print -- it was published in 1962. It has both tab and standard musical notation in parallel, both hand-drawn because music typesetting was inordinately expensive at the time. Teaches a variety of strumming and picking styles, using songs that were widely known in the folk music community at the time.
