...nothing before coffee!

Both of my children now drink coffee. We've been getting the Good Stuff from Barefoot Coffee Roasters; the kids are now officially coffee snobs. The family now goes through roughly a pound a week; the flower_cat just goes in on Monday and buys a bag of whatever is freshest.

All of Barefoot's coffee is Fair Trade, and their website is a Wordpress blog. Can you tell we like the place?

heh. Both jenkitty and I have had to go off caffeine... which makes us rather picky about what we *do* drink. I remember a time when we thought Maxwell House was the good stuff... and then we moved out here. Now seven years have passed, and I found myself rejecting a coffee cup proposed as a winter holiday gift... because it only held 11oz. and thus wasn't big enough for a standard latte.

Likes a variety on roast, you do? We're more towards the medium-dark-smooth kind of thing... unlike cflute, who's all over the Italian roast :)

Fresh-roasted coffee is a wonderous thing. I've become such a coffee snob, of recent years, liking varietals. (My favorite is Maui.)

Barefoot seems to have mostly varietals. Yummy.
