Ouch! (and a weekend update)

My left ankle has been hurting on and off for a couple of weeks; this afternoon and evening it was pretty bad until I put a brace on it. Maybe I should take it easy on the walks for a week or so.

After my walk (the ankle started hurting only when I was almost back to the car) I went to Home Depot and bought a pair of tinsnips to use on the hardware cloth that I bought weeks ago to fix the crawlspace vents. Then I had lunch and headed off to the Container Store to get the shelving that the flower_cat wanted for the back bathroom. Also found a wonderful Eagle Creek zippered tote for the Cat. Headed home before I could do more damage.

Did some yard cleanup and planted a new rosebush that the Cat got to replace one that's been spending the last couple of years dying in the front yard.

Dinner was rice pilaf (rice with oil and onions) and leg of lamb (big chunk of dead baby sheep). Yummy.
