Did a reasonable job (I think) of re-recording the track for "Little Computing Machine", and did some cleanup on "Silk and Steel". Details over here in mdlbear_albums, including a to-do list. Worldcon is beginning to look dicey.

Sheesh. You've got more degrees and have adapted to changing technology much more successfully than I have... so you probably know the importance of "setting a deadline and sticking to it"?

Why aren't you doing that with your album? :)

Because I'm lazy? Because it's a background job, and there's always something else to do? Damned if I know.

Besides, there's a reason why I went into research instead of product development! Or, as they say in the Free Software world, "we'll release it when it's ready!"

Heh. I think I'd be much happier in a research environment than a development or production environment. Unfortunately, it seems that it's impossible to get hired for research if you're anything under a B.S.
