I'll probably be getting to the hotel (the Red Lion Convention Center) 4-ish, which will give me just enough time to unpack and have dinner before the convention kickoff session at 7:00.

I'm almost done packing; I still need to make a final decision about which travel guitar to bring; at the moment I'm leaning toward "Plink", the little Vagabond. It's smaller. (cflute has one, but I want something for the hotel room so I can get in practice for Worldcon, which is in less than a month.

Eeep! Sorry I didn't see this sooner. If you'd like to practice on my dreadnought (which I realize is almost certainly bigger than Ruby, but which is at least a full-size, full-resonance guitar), let me know and I can make arrangements to get it to you at the hotel, either late tonight or sometime tomorrow (Weds).

No problem -- I'm travelling pretty light; a rolling suitcase, rolling briefcase, shoulderbag, and Plink. I'm trying to get into the habit of travelling with a guitar.

And a dreadnought would almost certainly disturb my hotel neighbors.

We should figure out where/when to meet on Friday; I've arranged to check out at noon and stash my luggage, such as it is. We could meet in the Red Lion lobby, I suppose.
