Cleversafe,org is an Open Source project (GPL) with software that creates a distributed, secure storage grid. Uses a combination of RAID techniques and encrypted, hashed blobs. Somewhat similar to OceanStore, though the latter appears to use more redundancy and may scale better. Both look interesting.
