I'll probably post something about Novell's sellout to Microsoft later, but this comment on Groklaw is way too good not to share:

"And MS crack legal team [...]"

Play nice now. Just because you can point to the MS Litigation page for evidence, it doesn't show the MS legal team is on crack. That's only circumstantial evidence. There are other legitimate reasons for all those failures (aka, settlements).

*snort* They're not on crack at all. Unless you count the crack of the legal whip, MAXIMIZE SHAREHOLDER VALUE...

But, you know, I still think that the period 1990 through whenever it was that MSFT started giving a dividend ought to be subject to a lawsuit... when you've got 95% of the market, you cannot sanely characterize yourself as a growth company and not give a dividend.

Huh. Guess it's time to seriously rethink my distro of choice... *sigh*

And I just got a whole buncha infrastructure set up, too. I wonder what the legal implications would be to switching to OpenSUSE?

For that matter... I wonder what the legal implications are if you're running SuSE, but you're not "licensed" for it? I've never purchased a copy, so I've never had a support contract.
