Electronic Music - Don't Use Pencil - Gizmodo
The electronic music stand allows paperless performances by either scanning your music or downloading it from an 85,000 score library. The image is displayed on a low-glare 12" 1024x768 LCD. Flipping pages is easy with the foot pedal and the stand allows you to make notes via keyboard, stylus or touchscreen. Plus, the unit stores MP3s, setlists and fingering charts, while featuring small bonuses like pitch pipe, midi support and metronome.

Too expensive, obviously. If the price were an order of magnitude less, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. As it is, I think I'll just write a hacked-up viewer, and rotate my laptop 90 degrees.

Sparkly!

But yeah, you could probably do something easier with your tablet pc in portrait mode.
Now, if it advertized itself as a tablet PC with extra software and goodies, then it would be an interesting buy. But as a one use product, way too much money.
Hm, $300 for software and pedal that plugs into usb port. Now that would make a lot of sense. Steve, you wanna invent something?
