What is quite possibly the world's worst recording of a Christmas carol comes from folkmew, who got it from this post by ohikennedy, which points to this post on The Sneeze.

Now, before you go there and, if you dare, listen to it, let me just quote ohikennedy's warning:

Trust me on this. Use headphones if any other living creature (including plants you're fond of) is in the room. Do not eat or drink. And sit down while listening.

Please note that filkertom held out for only 20 seconds. After that it gets worse. My earworms fled gibbering in terror. There is a reason why I had to make a new icon for this post.

I like the song "O Holy Night" & I know I don't have the voice to do it justice. However ....

I'd like to have the opportunity to step aside & do the karaoke bit for him.

BTW: I mangled to survive the whole duration, with some really large flinches & Mindy started crying near the end. "Turn it off, daddy, turn it off!"

This is so awesome I laughed hysterically several times. I've sent myself a link to the sneeze.com site so I can burden other poor, innocent souls with this sincere, heartfelt, amazingly embarrassing disaster.
