Progress?

It's progress, but not necessarily on the album. Spent most of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon splitting up last week's Consonance concert. The Tres Gique part is done; I still have to do the bits of cflute and tibicina's concert that I was able to record from the slot before, and fix up the indexing which seems to be having problems with my perl scripting at the moment. Seems to have come out pretty well; I'll probably use at least one track on the preorder bonus disk.

Also took a three-mile walk, went to Fry's with selkit and chaoswolf, went out for Chinese food at Jasmine, and Kanef's housefilk (sang "Like a Lamb to the Slaughter" and "Close Your Eyes"). Sleepy bear. Go fall over now.

Woot woot! Didn't know you'd recorded that...

As for the Kanefilk: Do I see a theme there? lambs to the slaughter, and demons eating little kids?

"Like a Lamb to the Slaughter" is Frank Hayes talking-blues version of "Matty Groves", but yes, there was definitely a theme going. cadhla was there, so we had zombies and mad scientists as well, and Kathy Mar sang Kanef's "Dear Departed".

Definitely a fun filk.
