Harmony vocals from Robin (The 'lor half of capplor): choruses on "Someplace in the Net"; verses and choruses on "Programmer's Alphabet" and "Paper Pings". Sounded good, but I haven't done the mixing yet.

I'm not sure it fits the mood, but there's a lot to her suggestion of putting "Programmer's Alphabet" at the end of the CD (with the sharp cutoff after "There may be more verses they wanted to send / But they've all gotten clobbered, so this is the end" -- suggestions?

I looked up the lyrics to Someplace in the Net, so I could make a more informed judgement. While I can see the appeal of the "conceit" of putting Programmer's Alphabet last, I think that since you plan to do additional albums, and this one's title is "Coffee, Computers, and Song", that SitN is a better "final note" to use. Just my .02.

And, btw, I'm pleased as punch that you have harmony vocals for it now! Sorry I haven't been available, I'm up to my eyeballs in a new venture up here and haven't had *any* spare bandwidth lately. Nor even enough sleep! :)

I think you're right about SitN going last -- I'd be interested in any other ideas you might have. I've heard it too many times at this point to have any good ideas on the subject.

It is coming together, though. I've been listening to preliminary dump CDs. I'd be interested in hearing about your new venture, when you get to a breathing point.
