Slightly boggled

I was doing a little practicing for my upcoming concert slot at Westercon (a week from Friday -- I need to practice a lot!) and the chaoswolf came in as I was hitting the last chorus of The Mary Ellen Carter.

``Stan Rogers, 1984!'' she says. I didn't realize she read album covers closely enough, and often enough, to memorize the copyright dates... She claims to know about a quarter of mine, too.

I sit corrected: Stan Rogers did a (c) on that song in 1979.

Mmm. One of my favorites, but my performance on that isn't where it needs to be yet, so it won't be in my Westerconcert. A pity, as I'm still about 3:00 short.
Guess I'll play slower. :)
