I wouldn't have gone for it -- I *really* want to have POTS on that line for emergencies. Like earthquakes. And DSL on that line is *not* AT&T, it's sonic.net.
My second line, which has the *old* DSL line that I've been too lazy to move my email off of, might be available for something like that, but more likely for a cell/cable/voice bundle. Cable more because I want high-speed upload for backups than because I want hundreds of worthless TV channels. If you can get me 10Mb/sec upstream for cheap I might be interested.
Wouldn't know about new phones -- $work/.. is a big company.
