Blink... blink...
2008-05-23 09:13 amWoke somewhere around 5am with an extremely dry mouth -- I now understand why people use a humidifier in their CPAP. I only seem to have the problem when I've been taking stimulant-based decongestants, so I'm not going to worry about it much. I keep a water bottle next to the bed anyway.
After two neti pots and my flonase, I'm more-or-less back in operation. Throat slightly dry and a little bit scratchy, but usable. I'll still need to nose-water more often than usual.
The air was thick with woodsmoke from the Summit fire when I took the Younger Daughter to school this morning.
9am: Hmm... I think I left just a little too much space between coffee and breakfast. Was starting to get a trifle shaky. Yay for omelettes with salami, cheese, and salsa. I'll probably have to have lunch.

Date: 2008-05-23 05:46 pm (UTC)Lunch good. Matter of fact, six small meals is suggested for those who have issues with roller-coaster glucose... and meal bars definitely recommended as part of one's con-going kit.

Date: 2008-05-24 01:32 pm (UTC)My problem with multiple small meals is that I seem to be unable to differentiate it from snacking. One of my problems. A breakfast that has any carbs at all without sufficient protein won't even get me much past noon.
