Rather than give this stupid Mac laptop a chance to eat my post again, I'm just going to post the songs with quick notes, and and post the "oficial" notes later when I have it uploaded and have some time on a machine I can actually type on.

2	High Barratry I've taken to putting the explanation of Barratry after the first verse as a voiceover.

6	The Toolmakers We've added an instrumental verse. Bass flute love.
7	Ferret Went A-Courtin' Two-voice arrangement worked up by me and Joyce.
8	The Owl and the Pussycat This really sounds good with three voices.
9	Cryptographer's Anthem (Callie solo - whee!)
10	The Little Computing Machine
11	The Programmer's Alphabet

What does being a Johnny Reb have to do with anything? Besides, I can sing that pretty much anytime you want and you can record it yourself. Though it was fun to decide at the last split second to go for the descant high note in the last line, and nail it.

I think what it has to do with it is, "Somebody's screwing around with the yankees' anthem -- cool!" but that's just a guess. :)

Don't have the context for the "johnny reb" part, but both Harold Groot and I recorded the whole thing, on video and the H2 respectively. Have not had a chance to listen, but odds are good.

I missed the concert to spend time with an old friend, just post-op, who I hadn't seen in a few years. I don't regret that decision, but I way regret missing the concert....
