Recently I seem to have the short-term memory of a mayfly. Over the weekend I proved, several times, unable to reliably transcribe a two-sentence message on a single hearing.

I'll try to remember to get you to confirm or repeat parts of your message -- possibly several times -- while I'm transcribing it. If I forget (um, er...), insist that I read it back to you.

(added 8:45) And if you tell me to do something and don't see me write it down? Insist. Mayfly.

I don't remember any hill...

[livejournal.com profile] acrobatty was just saying today that they've got a new memory drug in trials.... could be... interesting...

BTW, apropos of nothing but *I* remembered, [livejournal.com profile] cflute was saying you were mentioning something about an image processing tool fancier than The GIMP?

oh, no, not PSA.

TSA. They are the folks who tell you whether you....

may. fly.

I've had memory problems for as long as I can remember (joke not intended). Poor short-term memory, and no file system for long-term. A good memory drug would be nice.

They said on KCBS radio that new studies show fish oil is good for both memory and helping Altzheimers patients. And you don't need a prescription! Hmm, that old saw about fish being brain food might have had something after all.
