Happy Solstice!

It was still daylight when I went out for my walk a little after 7pm, and it had finally cooled enough to make walking reasonable. The sun was still up when I returned around 8pm, but it was low in the sky. The air had cooled considerably thanks to a clear, if slightly hazy, sky.

I'm calm, and reasonably content.

My left calf muscle has been cramping a little the last few days; I took things easy.

Went out around 2pm to buy plywood and redwood for a wheelchair ramp. I appear to be allergic to some wood or other; my throat started tightening up a little while after I returned. Still scratchy, but the claritin seems to be fighting it with modest success.

The dust of many woods are irritating to varying degrees. Reading the hazard notices at Southern Lumber for some of the more exotic woods made me realize I was going to stick to the easier stuff.

It's never given me trouble before, but I suppose one can always develop an allergy over time.

Anent the cramp, have you been getting enough potassium?

Trying to. I'm going to see my doc and get an electrolyte panel done, though. A few years ago the main issue was calcium, and I've been trying to ramp that back up as well; I stopped taking regular "calcium supplements" when I stopped needing CaCO2 for acid reflux.
