Exactly five weeks from now I'll be at ConChord, hanging out with friends and getting ready for my gig as Toastmaster. Eeep!

I just found out this afternoon that Joyce will be going; that means that my concert can include some Tres Gique material. Cool!

Does this mean that it's a good thing that I haven't completely settled on my set list? Err, I mean, ummmm,...

tibicina, are you still thinking of bringing handbells?

I think I've just acquired a couple more projects for this weekend.

I didn't end up setting anything for bells, so I wasn't going to bring any for my own stuff, but if you know which bells you'd want, I could probably borrow them.

The two songs that could use them are in G and C; the PDFs have the chords, and there are audio files up for both, though probably not very good ones. That's one of the weekend projects.

If we just go for the roots of the chords, that would be C, D, E, F, and G.

It might be simpler not to try for bells, though; I'm not sure when the concert will be or how much time we'd have for practice.

Is a set list ever really final until the concert is over? You'll be great.

No, of course not. But I'd expected to have a pretty good idea around the end of May so I could, y'know, practice or something.

But any concert that includes "Ship of Stone" is guaranteed to have at least some greatness in it.
