mdlbearGot the new ethernet switch (TRENDnet TE100-S16) installed last night. The reduction in noise when I took out the old one was significant. You'd think a cooling fan would last longer than 4 years, though. The new one only pulls 6 watts, and although it has cooling slots on the sides it doesn't appear to have a fan.
