State of the Bear
2008-09-18 10:04 pmIt was cool, almost cold, this morning. Nice, for a change. It had warmed up by the time I went out for my walk, but still perfect weather for walking. My body, on the other hand, was feeling far from perfect, with aching legs and a sore back. The walk helped a lot, but it didn't fix things completely; I'm a lot better now. I wonder whether this year's con crud wasn't a mild flu rather than the usual cold -- Colleen reported some unaccustomed aches as well.
Aside: much as I enjoy reading my friends list, I would enjoy it just as much if my friends' lives were less, um, interesting. The universe would be just as enjoyable if it were dull and comfortable.
On a lighter note, my weight continues to go down; ConChord, like Conflikt, was one of the very few cons where I actually lost weight. As long as I can stick to a low-carb diet...
