Rainy morning

It's raining, gently. The sky is grey and beautiful, and the air is washed clean. Driving is a little dangerous -- people forget how to drive in the rain over the summer -- but it's worth it.

Ahhh, it's a fine Irish morning, dontchaknow.

The most dangerous part is all the grease on the roads with that coating of water on it... once the grease is washed away, things are fine.

Do I recognize the hand of vixyish in the icon? It's lovely. :)

Never been to Ireland, but I'm sure you're right.

Indeed. It takes quite a while for a summer's worth of grease to wash away.

I've not been to Ireland (yet) either, but Paddy Maloney of the Chieftans grew up there, and that's what he called our fine misty weather, so I'll take his word for it. :)
