According to this article, our dictator has just "served notice on Friday that the U.S. will shift its military strategy away from the deterrence that characterized the Cold War and toward pre-emptive action against terrorists seeking weapons of mass destruction."

That makes me feel so much safer...

I didn't look at the article, but there was something on the front page of the Chron yesterday that had Rumsfeld saying what amounted to "the lurkers support me in email," too.
