You said the concerts "went well", and you obviously had a good time yourself, making music with your friends. Audiences sense that, and respond with even more positive energy. (Y'know, you could absorb some of that positive energy yourself, and still have more than enough to put back into your performance.) I wasn't even there, but I know you wowed 'em :-)
