My father died 10 years ago today. I still miss him a lot.

I don't think I have much more to say.

It's been just under 5 months since my Dad passed away. I understand what you're feeling. I occasionally get a jolt of awareness that he's gone. When I think of him, I'm just starting to recall him as he was for most of my life, instead of the way he was at the end. My thoughts are with you!

I understand. I still miss my mom a lot too, sometimes.

I am not particularly sensitive to the exact date myself, but I notice it more in the summer.

I always have to look up the date, but late January to early February is always rough regardless. So's early August, but August 4 is a date I'm unlikely ever to forget.
