Nice when something finally works

chaoswolf wants to transfer a file -- a class project -- home from her computer at school. The machine at school is an iMac: no removable media. It does have IE :-P and a web connection.

I've been working on some website operating software for a while now. So I dove back into the file-management CGI and got upload debugged. It's baling-wire and duct-tape at the moment, but it'll get the job done.

This whole project has been taking a whole lot longer than I expected -- it's now a year since my original target date -- so it's nice to see something actually working.

Is there any feedback mechanism or mailing list for penguinsong? I'd like to help put things together -- are you considering Sourceforge for it?

Somewhere on the site it talks about sending mail to admin, but in fact the only person on the project at the moment is me (steve@thestarport.org).

SourceForge is definitely a possibility (I'm already a developer on http://cpia.sf.net ) but at the moment it's changing rapidly enough that it's more convenient to keep the CVS repository and the website(s) on the same LAN.
