Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for:

• my family;
• Colleen in particular, who has been getting stronger and more self-confident at last;
• Colleen's caregiver, V, and her grandson d, who was here with her this week doing yardwork;
• our sweet kitties Ticia, who purrs me to sleep, and Desti, who is currently sitting on my lap;
• Cat Faber, for her idea of wearing black today as a protest.

No thanks to

• the sociopaths who are rapidly turning what used to be a pretty decent country into something unrecognizable;
• idiots who set off excessively loud explosions and scare the cats.
