Today I am grateful for...

• Air conditioning.
• Noise cancelling headphones.
• Coffee.
• The World Wide Web (30 years old last Friday - see http://info.cern.ch).
• A comfy couch (for a more traditional kind of surfing).
• Emacs. (Have I mentioned Emacs lately?)
• (ETA) Boxer shorts.

Yeahhh... there was one of those "tell me how old you are without saying how old you are" questions over on Reddit. So I said I when I got online the internet was called APAnet..

Some snarky little booger called me gramps and asked if I needed help checking my email. So I bot-net sniped his ip and booted him off line with a DDOS.

Do not quote the old magic at me, for I was there when it was written!

I have forgotten a lot of what I knew over the years, but I still understand what you did and what you're quoting!

I think I'm going to keep that quote in mind, as I deal with the brain damage from the anoxia bouts and required open heart surgery in 2017.

I may not know how to do the old magic anymore, but I still know who to ask if needed! 😏😉
