It wasn't a particularly good week, but it was at least moderately productive. I actually Did Things, including taking my left eye in to Urgent Care on Sunday, changing the prescription for ointment to eyedrops, dammit because I can't ointment, a PT appointment (my last for this round) Monday, an endodontist appointment Tuesday, where I scheduled the required root canal for this Tuesday, signed up for a Mastodon account (@ssavitzky@indieweb.social), and (finally) got back in touch with a realtor about selling the Whidbey Island house (yesterday).

Thank you to everyone who's followed me on Mastodon via my Thankful Thursday post, and thanks in advance to anyone who does so because of this post. I'll mass-add the results of running Debirdify sometime later this week.

"Don't read." That's hilarious. Corneal abrasions not so much, though. Anna had a few of them until they figured out her CPAP was blowing into her eyes at night and got that sorted out, now she's fine.

No fun -- leaky masks are miserable. My guess for my most recent scratch is one of the occasional bits of congealed goo that form on my eyelashes at night. I've also had eyelashes get stuck behind my eyelids, but I usually manage to get them out without causing too much damage.

I just pulled an eyelash out of my eye this morning. It felt like a log.

Chris had a corneal abrasion once. He was unhappy.
