Thankful Thursday

mdlbearToday I am grateful for...
- Curio and Colleen, and tears. Those few minutes reading the fantasy
afterlife sections in their Rainbow Bridge pages were the most I've cried since Curio crossed
over in 2015. Perhaps I'm not quite as
brokendisconnected from my emotions as I thought. - Desti and Ticia -- both of them are taking good care of me.
- N and G, for taking good care of the cats while I'm up on the Island for a few days, and taking good care of me in general.
- Referrals from my PCP (not doctor -- she's an ARNP; I like her a lot) for opthalmology and audiology.
- Telemedicine. One of the few good things to come out of the ongoing pandemic. I'm not thanking the pandemic for anything, though.
- A basically painless root canal Tuesday, and fast recovery. No thanks to the decay that required it. Also my left eye seems to have recovered, though I'm still on antibiotic eyedrops. See last week's gratitude post.

Cats are a comfort. The cats when they go to RB is heartbreaking. We have the ashes of our cats in urns on our mantel.
