Today I am grateful for...

• Political sanity where one can find it. Obvious exclusions apply.
• Wherewithal. Enough for now, anyway; the future is uncertain. So is the stock market.
• Project Gutenberg and the Internet Archive. Also, the Public Domain. NO thanks for ridiculous copyright extensions.
• Alternatives not owned by billionaires. To which I might add StartMail and Startpage, which are not listed there, but are local to me.
• Having formatted my lead sheets so that they fit on two pages, and monitors that can display two pages at once. And looseleaf notebooks and music stands, for when I'm not in front of a large monitor.
