I miss my coffee
2004-09-17 08:27 amAfter my checkup in July, the doctor (who has an office in the area that used to be my group's cube farm at Zilog 20 years ago) handed me a lab slip which I'm supposed to have done sometime before the end of September. I've been procrastinating. Anyway, the blood lipid panel requires a 12-hour fast, so no breakfast or coffee until it's done, somewhere around 9am.
Meanwhile, the video capture card I bought Sunday at Weird Stuff doesn't seem to work: it keeps the machine it's in from booting. Grr. So if I want to do any recording this weekend, I have to either reinstall the soundcard in the Mini-ITX box (which only has one slot) or, more likely, put it in the new, fast machine.
