OK, the wireless router appears to be up. Stupid config pages can't be navigated using Lynx; had to fire up Firefox on an ageing laptop with a too-small screen. Foo. I'm blocking outgoing SMTP. What I really want to do is block everything except for a few selected ports, but the default s/w doesn't give me that option. Luckily it's a Linux box (Linksys WRT54G) under the hood, and there are alternative distributions available. ( details )

About the only things left are UPS and system monitoring, configuring the printing, setting up the new gateway, and stuffing the whole lot back in the rack.
